When it comes to my training philosophies, my key principles are trust and respect. I believe these two core values are the key for clear, conscious communication with your horse. While having just trust, or just respect can get you into trouble, having the perfect balance of both for your horse is the key to success and a long lasting, beautiful relationship. I am a firm believer that no two horses are the same and, on that token, training programs should not be one size fits all, because that's simply not the case. I modify my training protocol to fit every individual horse and cater training to what each horse needs. I believe by putting the horse first you can almost always create a beneficial relationship for all parties involved, after all horses are always speaking to us, if we can just take the time to listen.
